Michael Murphy
2ND VICE CHAIR
Born in Fayetteville, NC grew up in Washington, DC and a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School. Michael went on to graduate from St. Louis University with a B.S. in Marketing.
He was elected to the Governors Council in1990 for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Michael ran for Congress in ’94 (MA-9) and was a signee on the Contract with America.
Currently, Michael is President and CEO of M3 Innovations, LLC., a health and hygiene product marketing firm based in Mableton, GA. He most recently was the Special Assistant for Special Projects for the Cobb County Chairman, until January of 2021.
Michael is a community activist and a guest columnist for the Marietta Daily Journal and Spotlight News. He has lived in Cobb County since 1999 with his wife, Vanessa. They have two grown sons and two granddaughters.
He is a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Michael stays active by engaging in Sustainability projects, health awareness, and environmental improvement initiatives.
